The location is amazing, you are 7 minutes away from Noto city centre, a few minutes away from Noto Beach and about 28 minutes away from San Lorenzo beach where we spent most of our time when not in the pool. Syracuse and Marzamemi are both around 30 minutes away in each direction. You also have Modica which is very accessible. The villa, residence is located on the top of a small hill which guarantees great views from the pool or breakfast. The owner Chantal was extremely welcoming and goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome, hence why it doesn't feel like a typical "hotel" , it has a warm family feel if you're into it but at the same time you have your privacy and loneliness if that's what you're after as nobody will bother you if you're after that peace and quiet. Another fantastic advantage that this place has , is the fact that there are only 5 rooms if I'm not mistaken and most of the residents are out and about most days so if you decide to spend the day in the pool, it will at times feel as if you're visiting your sister or aunt's villa as you've got the pool and patio to yourself. Parking is plenty for everyone and the designated car park spaces are under some solar panels which help keep the car in the shade and cool'ish during the day. Breakfast was more on the healthy side rather than the Sicilian super sweet side, you won't find a granita, ice creams and mini cannoli siciliani buy you have Caffe Sicilia for that which is about 8 minutes away. You'll be treated to some very tasty croissants, freshly cut fruit, home made jams, home made juices and also toast and some sliced meats and cheeses if you're after a slightly more savoury breakfast, all very, very delicious. The rooms have all been decorated following different themes and are very spacious, you also get a mini fridge, I would say filled with everything that you might need. You also have a dressing room for your luggage and a sofa in the main room, the images don't do the whole place justice as overall the place looks much better. The rooms are clean, the staff cleaned them while we had breakfast so they weren't intrusive and I'd say that they do a good job at keeping the room tidy. You have some relax areas on the far side of the property which look peaceful but in all honesty, between the landmarks you can visit, the beaches you can see and the great pool which gets cleaned on a daily basis, you won't have enough time to enjoy everything. Upon arrival you'll get a remote control for the main automated gate which makes it easy to come and go as you please at all times. The price of snacks in the mini fridge seemed fair, still water is included and you won't be charged extra. Overall price seems fair for the service that you get, we stayed there in the first week of August and cost wise it seemed fair. Overall a great location and a great home away from home if you're planning to see that side of Sicily for the week. Close to Caffe Sicilia, restaurants like Vicari in Noto, close to Marzamemi ( eat at Campisi ) and the Island of Ortigia. We'll be coming back soon.
